4 Different Flower Arranging Demonstrations and Workshops

All courses last approx. 3 hours and all equipment plus light refreshments are provided.
Floristry can be a little messy so please wear suitably casual clothes or bring an apron if concerned.
Vases for Beginners
This course has been designed for those who love to receive flowers but lack inspiration when it comes to choosing the right vase or way to best show them off at home.
You will be able to sit back and enjoy watching how similar flowers can be displayed in very different ways and during the workshop section will be invited to create your own fabulous arrangement to take home.
All equipment and vases are provided but should you have a ‘problem’ vase at home you are invited to challenge the tutors by bringing it along and asking for ideas.

Dinner Parties by Candle-light
Impress your friends and save money by learning how to create beautiful dinner party table centres, all incorporating candle-light.
You will be shown several different and innovative ideas and then invited to dress a beautiful glass candlestick which will be yours to take home.

Large Vases and Pedestals (Intermediate)
Take your new skills to another level by watching how flower arranging happens on a larger scale. You will see how important structure and balance become when creating large displays, both traditional and modern, and be invited to design and create your own pedestal arrangement.

Wiring for Beginners
Learn how buttonholes and corsages are constructed and see how the principles can be used to create other intriguing designs.
In the workshop we will be making wrist corsages; why not bring along a handbag or hat you would like to decorate?
