Archway Inspiration at The Post Barn with Sonning Flowers

We are delighted to be an exclusive supplier of Wedding Flowers at the Post Barn and have decorated this stunning venue many times.

Look back to July 2021 when The Post first opened, it is a contemporary wedding venue in a class of its own. An English oak barn like you’ve never seen before, with the most stunning contemporary architecture and nestled in a beautiful, secluded landscape with a team that are on hand to help, right down to the last detail. It’s no wonder we love working here!

Unsure where to start on planning your wedding flowers at the Post Barn? Let our recent weddings at the Post Barn inspire you! From small, intimate indoor weddings, to outdoor weddings with real wow factor, there are so many different ways to dress this gorgeous venue and through all times of the year. We’ve handpicked 7 recent weddings from 2023, all with different colour schemes, styles and budgets. Visit our Post Barn Portfolio page for images of these amazing ceremonies showcasing our wedding flowers.

Archway Inspo

Did I hear the word archway? Absolutely! You say jump, and we’ll say how high!

We can dress their beautiful 12ft metal frame on both sides with fresh flowers and foliage or just one side if preferred.

What’s the benefit of dressing the arch on both sides? Good question!

It gives a gorgeous backdrop as you say your vows and then, you guessed it – it looks wonderful for that confetti shot as you enter the beautiful garden, just like Chantal and Callum’s wedding, captured beautifully by Chris Kemp Photography.

Alternatively, Kerrie opted for a real statement broken archway. A real show stopper in front of the contemporary barn doors using a variety of fresh flowers and foliages, along with dried elements such as pampas grasses.

Faux Archways

And if that hasn’t provided enough food for thought, have you considered our faux archway with additional fresh flowers?

Amy and Colin did just that for their wedding flowers at The Post Barn, bringing an autumnal palette to our pre-dressed arch. It made for a stunning autumnal theme for their special day, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Broken Arches

If Broken Arches are more your style, then look no further than Emma and Charlie’s special day. Understated and elegant, with touches of blush throughout, this broken archway framed the couple beautifully for their ceremony.

Top Tip incoming – we ensured the mechanics were well hidden for the confetti shot as the arch was staying in situ. We made sure the foliage still looked beautiful at the back of the structure for that all important confetti shot, and the arch then stayed in situ to frame the couple beautifully during their wedding breakfast.
