How are we doing our bit for the environment?

We are passionate about the environment and about developing our green credentials.

Bouquets and weddings are made to order meaning we have minimal wastage
Any flower wastage we do have, we compost and then use the compost the following season. We also have links with dementia groups who sometimes use the flowers with their activity groups.
When we do use oasis in our arrangements, the oasis is biodegradable.
The cellophane and ribbons used in our gift bouquets are made of biodegradable materials
If you are part of our flower subscription service, we provide you with a vase for your first monthly bouquet which is then used throughout your flower subscription
We always encourage our wedding couples to repurpose flowers from their ceremony to their wedding breakfast and are happy to discuss potential ways of doing this. We also hold a stock of props which have a small hire charge. We encourage couple to consider these as opposed to purchasing the same items should they be suitable.
We collect all are used candles including tealights and recycled candles.
