Exceptional quality, long lasting fresh cut flowers
Whether you have a preference for traditional Naomi Red roses, delicate seasonal tulips or something more subtle to show a loved one how much they mean to you, our range of Valentine’s bouquets has something for everyone.
All our gift bouquets are handmade by our incredible team of experienced florists using high quality, fresh seasonal flowers supplied directly from Holland. To add that extra special touch, all bouquets include a personalised hand written message and are aqua packed in water, wrapped in recyclable paper and biodegradable cellophane, and presented in a reusable Sonning Flowers gift bag. For those extra brownie points why not add a box of luxury chocolates and a delightful AromaWorks Wax candle to your bouquet purchase to add even more wow factor. These can be selected on the product pages as you choose your bouquet size.
Why do we give flowers for Valentine's Day?
There are several versions of the origins of Valentine’s Day ranging from 3rd Century Rome to the 5th Century Christian Martyr Saint Valentine. Our tradition of giving flowers probably stems back to the Victorian era though. The giving of flowers became popular as a means of sending secret messages between lovers and admirers in a time when open displays of affection were frowned upon. So the practice was seen as a romantic way of expressing feelings, much like today.
Our Valentine's Range
The majority of our Valentine’s Bouquets come in a choice of sizes to suit any budget. Whatever you choose, we use the same premium quality fresh cut flowers in every bouquet. To see our full range and other gift ideas see our Valentines Range page.
